The City of Penticton is committed to an Occupational Health and Safety Program which meets or exceeds all legislatively required procedures to minimize or eliminate risks to the safety of employees, and reduce workplace injuries and time lost due to job related incidents.

Managers and Supervisors will:

› Identify and correct safety concerns in their areas

› Facilitate the implementation of safety programs

› Monitor and coach employees

Employees will:

› Follow the safety guidelines provided

› Participate in training and safety activities

› Inform supervisors of safety concerns

› Watch out for the safety of their co-workers
